Professor David Edwin Meyers (lwc-ux.com) describes how a user’s experience is directly tied to “time as a measurable dimension”. As one experiences cognitive friction, confusion or delays that fall outside of their mental model in a real-world or digital engagement, one loses patience and the odds of abandonment increase.
